Robert G. Crockett leads Environmental and Energy teams., providing consulting and lobbying services on regulatory and natural resource matters to public and private businesses, corporations and municipalities water, air, and other environmental matters.
His background in natural resources and the environment, business and manufacturing and economic development allow clients to benefit from his broad knowledge and experience. He has been involved in several DEQ activities in recent years, including DEQ’s groundwater withdrawal work group and as the lead advocate for small rural Virginia counties and jurisdictions on solar development.
Crockett worked for almost two decades for Westvaco, now WestRock where his focus was on the development and operational success of the company’s manufacturing operations. He has served as Board chair of a number of non-profit organizations, including the United Way, YMCA and is active in Virginia's Special Olympics program. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Gloucester Community Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
