Kemah D. Morial is an accomplished public affairs professional with a proven track record of navigating complex environments and delivering impactful results across both the public and private sectors. She has successfully led winning public affairs campaigns and built effective partnerships and stakeholder engagements. Morial is recognized for her expertise in strategic planning and programming, stakeholder management, coalition building, and event planning.

While serving on Capitol Hill, Morial held increasingly senior roles, including Director of External Affairs and Member Services for the Congressional Black Caucus and Senior Advisor to former Congressman Cedric Richmond (LA-02). During this time, she sharpened her strategic planning and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on building coalitions to support policy goals.

In her most recent executive roles with leading national and international corporations, Morial directed comprehensive public affairs strategies to achieve legislative and regulatory objectives. She effectively managed partnerships with nonprofit organizations, trade associations, think tanks, and corporate allies to drive advocacy and policy impact.

Morial has built and sustained relationships with prominent national civil rights and community organizations. Her ability to unify diverse partners in advocacy efforts before Congress and federal agencies has been a critical factor in her success. Her innovative and resourceful execution of public affairs campaigns and third-party advocacy has consistently delivered measurable policy outcomes and record-breaking stakeholder engagement.

Passionate about social impact, equity, and multicultural collaboration, Morial is driven to align business goals with meaningful community outcomes. She is a firm believer that companies can thrive by doing good. As a seasoned public affairs strategist, advocate, and coalition builder, she brings energy, enthusiasm, and a competitive spirit to every project she leads.

Morial is the co-founder of the Black Women’s Congressional Alliance (BWCA), a bipartisan, bicameral organization with over 900 members. Since its founding in 2018, BWCA has hosted professional development briefings, events, and webinars to promote diverse hiring and inform staffers about career opportunities on Capitol Hill. The organization continues to offer its members robust networking and professional development support.

Morial holds a Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University. Born in Washington, D.C., she was raised in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where she spent 18 years. She is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish.
