Ike Spears has over 35 years of significant litigation experience and has served as the lead attorney on major cases in both state and federal court. Over the course of his distinguished legal career, Spears has represented thousands of individual clients as well as major corporations, municipalities, government officials, and public agencies. He is also a veteran political consultant. Over the past 30 years, he has counseled and advised countless candidates and public officials.

A native of New Orleans and a Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude graduate of Morehouse College, Spears has been recognized for his outstanding oratorical skills and has been awarded the coveted Benjamin E. Mays Debating Prize. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree at Tulane Law School, where he was both a Dean’s Merit Scholar and Earl Warren Scholar. A licensed attorney and an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, he has also served on the boards of numerous professional, civic and community organizations.

Spears was appointed by the Louisiana Supreme Court to serve for one year as Judge Pro Tempore in the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
