Hyun Lee is an experienced executive with demonstrated accomplishment in government relations, strategic planning and international business management.
Previously, Lee worked as a government relations consultant focused on providing new business development, project management, policy analysis, client communications and building coalitions. She successfully identified more than 50 potential international business opportunities by conducting a business model analysis of the global disaster management system.
She also has extensive experience working in the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. As the Civic Engagement and Outreach Director at the Korean American Association of the Washington Metropolitan Area, she spearheaded the organization's outreach program and developed a multi-action and diversity agenda that included civic engagement, grassroots organizing and public education.
Lee holds a MBA from the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business and a master’s degree in government from the Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Science. She earned her bachelor's in international affairs from the George Washington University. Fluent in Korean and English, Lee has served as a visiting scholar at George Mason University and an adjunct professor at I-Global University and Columbia College.
