Greg Peden is someone people turn to when they need smart, discreet and effective representation before state and local governments in Oregon. He is based in Portland but maintains a regular presence at the Oregon State Capitol.

Peden specializes in helping business and other interests successfully navigate state politics and the Oregon legislature. With his expertise, he assists clients in navigating the legislature along with offering policy knowledge in the areas of natural resources, general business, energy, public safety and transportation policy.

Peden has served as vice president of government affairs and economic development for the Portland Business Alliance and was Director of Law and Policy for Qwest (now Century Link). Following law school, his career began working for Governor John Kitzhaber during his first term. Peden was an advisor on corrections and public safety issues and also worked on the governor’s successful 1998 re-election campaign.

Peden earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University.
