Bob J. Nash has more than 40 years of public service. He has held a range of impressive roles ranging from serving as a senior aide in economic development and finance; Undersecretary for Rural and Community Development at the U.S. Department of Agriculture; Assistant to the President and Director of Presidential Personnel at the White House; Vice Chairman of Shorebank Corporation; and as Vice President of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
A native of Texarkansas, Arkansas, Nash works closely with corporate, nonprofit and political clients.
During his tenure as Under Secretary of Rural & Community Development at USDA, Nash managed 12,000 employees and the USDA’s $8-billion-dollar housing, electric, telephone, business, and public facility loan and grant programs and While at ShoreBank Corporation in Chicago, he chaired and led three of the corporation’s non-profit affiliates in Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland that were involved in housing and small business lending.
Nash holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in addition to a master’s degree in urban studies from Howard University.
