Former Peter Damon Group Advisor Ron Carson is named HUD Director of Advance

January 21, 2021 - The Peter Damon Group congratulates its former advisor Ron Carson on being named Director of Advance for the incoming Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

As a PDG Advisor, Carson put to work his years of political experience serving at the federal, state and local levels of government combined with a dynamic background in community relations, sports and entertainment. The Cleveland, Ohio, native has traveled extensively as a logistics expert for two U.S. Presidents and two U.S. Secretaries of Energy, in addition to his work as a trusted logistics advisor on several national and statewide political campaigns.

President Biden has nominated Congresswoman Marcia Fudge (D-OH), who was first elected to represent Ohio’s 11thCongressional District in 2008, to succeed Ben Carson as HUD Secretary. When confirmed, she will be the first woman in 40 years to helm the department.
