Bipartisanship

Congressional Black Caucus Institute

We participated in the Fannie Lou Hamer Government Relations Fellowship Program. We welcomed Shanelle Staten, a Southern University Law Center student, for a six-week fellowship at our DC headquarters.


Chief of Staff

Chief Administrative Officer Shenika Munasinghe was promoted to the role of PDG’s first-ever Chief of Staff.

The Las Vegas Experience

Our Events Team helped make the 2022 CBCF Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) a memorable affair by producing The Las Vegas Experience, an inaugural event that honored Nevada Congressman Steven Horsford. Take a Look


The New Party

For the fifth year, PDG hosted The New Party during CBCF ALC. Honoring U.S. Representatives Donald M. Payne, Jr. (NJ) and Troy A. Carter, Sr. (LA), the team elevated The New Party in 2022 with the Capital One Arena as the venue. Take a Look


African American Mayors Association

PDG provided first-class event management and production services for the 2022 African American Mayors Association in Washington, D.C. Take a Look



Key Client Wins

 
The Federal Mechanical Insulation Act

PDG helped to secure The Federal Mechanical Insulation Act which requires federal buildings to install mechanical insulation for piping, HVAC systems, boilers and similar equipment for energy efficiency.


Ghost Gun Clarification Amendment Act of 2022

PDG helped secure language in the District of Columbia's Omnibus Firearm and Ghost Gun Clarification Amendment Act of 2022 which clarifies and strengthens ghost gun prohibitions.


Inflation Reduction Act.

On behalf of energy clients, PDG obtained invitations to attend White House meetings and events, including the celebration of the signing of the Inflation Reduction Act.


Patent Dispute

PDG helped a client in their patent dispute before the United States Trade Commission which ultimately ruled that sales and imports of the IQOS tobacco device in the United States must cease.


H.R. 5883

PDG helped ensure and build bipartisan support for H.R. 5883, a bill to establish a value-based care program to exempt eligible rural health clinics from certain payment limitations.


Federal Contracts

PDG assisted a client in maintaining certain federal contracts that were eliminated through a Presidential Executive Order.


AARP

Our partnership with client AARP produced top-tier digital marketing campaigns advocating critical prescription drug reform.


CBC ALC congressional policy forum

PDG helped secure a CBC ALC congressional policy forum focused solely on key issues impacting our client
